Terms of Service

To ensure fair access for all members and maintain the quality of our services, we have established the following booking and payment policies:

• Non-refundable fees: All booking fees are non-refundable once payment is processed.
• Spot transfers: If sessions are sold out, you may sell your spot to others through our official WhatsApp group.
• Payment methods: We accept various payment methods as indicated during the booking process.
• Booking confirmation: Your spot is only confirmed once payment is received in full.
• Session changes: We reserve the right to change session times or locations when necessary, with appropriate notice.

All members are expected to follow our Code of Ethics at all times to maintain a positive and inclusive environment:

• Respect for all: Treat all players, staff, and facility personnel with respect and courtesy.
• Inclusive behavior: Welcome players of all skill levels and backgrounds.
• Positive communication: Use respectful language and maintain a positive attitude.
• Sportsmanship: Display good sportsmanship whether winning or losing.
• Cooperation: Follow instructions from organizers and facility staff.

To ensure fair play and maximum enjoyment for all participants, we follow our Efficient Court Utilization Plan:

• Players per court: Maximum of 6 players per net (4 playing while 2 practice).
• Rotation system: Winners may stay for a second game but must split teams, with 2 new players joining.
• Game limits: Maximum of 2 consecutive games per player to allow rotation.
• Losing players: May choose new partners and switch nets or stay together.
• Practice time: Players not in a match should use designated practice areas.

By booking a session or participating in any Badminton Buddies event, you agree to uphold our community values:

• Respect: Value all members regardless of skill level, background, or experience.
• Inclusivity: Welcome newcomers and help create an environment where everyone feels comfortable.
• Fun: Prioritize enjoyment and friendly competition over winning at all costs.
• Safety: Play responsibly and be aware of your surroundings to prevent injuries.
• Cooperation: Work with organizers to maintain smooth sessions and help when needed.

Your safety is important to us, but participants must also take responsibility for their well-being:

• Assumption of risk: Participants acknowledge that badminton involves physical activity and assume all risks of injury.
• Health condition: Ensure you are in appropriate physical condition to participate.
• Equipment: Use proper footwear and equipment to minimize injury risk.
• Property damage: Participants are responsible for any damage they cause to facility property.
• Personal belongings: Secure your personal items as we are not responsible for lost or stolen property.

We reserve the right to refuse service or remove participants for violations of these terms:

• Policy violations: Failure to follow the Code of Ethics or other community guidelines.
• Disruptive behavior: Actions that disrupt sessions or make others uncomfortable.
• Safety concerns: Behavior that creates unsafe conditions for others.
• Non-payment: Failure to pay for sessions or related fees.

Decisions regarding participation are at the discretion of Badminton Buddies organizers and are final.
